Barker House bed and breakfast is situated on the Shannon Estuary in the picturesque village of Glin, just minutes from the Tarbert Ferry; (Tarbert to Kilimer car ferry) on the N69 route between Limerick and Tralee with Glin between Foynes and Tarbert. Barker House B&B is Bord Failte approved and is a member of Town and Country Homes. There are lots of attractions in Glin and nearby including the beautiful and historic Glin Castle. There are some very scenic walks, a lovely walk along the N69 on the banks of the river shannon, also lovely scenic walks on quite country roads around Glin. Glin Pier and Kilteery Pier are very popular for hornback ray, bull huss, dogfish and conger fishing. Glin is ten minute drive, along the N69, to Foynes Yacht Club formed in 1962. Excellent golf courses can be enjoyed within a 30 minute drive at either Newcastle West Golf course or Ballybunion Golf course.

We have three en suite bedrooms all tastefully decorated with TVs in each room. There is a large private car park. Our dining room / guest lounge is spacious and offers a warm open fire on those cold evenings. We are only just one hour from Shannon International Airport and 40 mins. from Limerick city and are ideally located for touring the Southwest.
